Sunwick
In Cindervale, every soul is a flame and every body is only wax. The Sun was the greatest candle of all, the Great Wick, until a moth the size of a mountain wrapped its wings around it and drank the light. Three hundred years later, ash falls instead of snow, and the dead no longer rest.
You wake in a barrow with the last true flame burning behind a cracked porcelain mask.
About the Game
Sunwick is a compact, combat-first metroidvania.
- Five interconnected areas: the Barrow Fields, the Waxworks foundry, the drowned Tallow Mire, the Moth-Deep, and the husk of the Sun itself. Shortcuts loop back to hearths, and old areas hide new paths.
- Four abilities that reopen the map: a burning rush that shatters wax seals, a moth-wing double jump, a grip that climbs walls, and a silk line that zips to hooks.
- Parry, riposte, dodge: every enemy telegraphs. Five Keepers and seven mini-bosses, each with their own moves.
- Builds that matter: 15 relics for a handful of slots, tempered weapons, heart and flask shards.
- Lose your embers where you fall, and go back for them.
- Choices that stay: two side quests across the world change who stands with you at the end.
- Play your way: keyboard + mouse, gamepad, or touch. Plays in the browser. Progress saves at every hearth.
The last flame must not fade.
